Asian Stock Markets Rise for a Fourth Consecutive Day
September 24, 2007
Asian stocks rose for a fourth day after the FED chairman Ben Bernake cut benchmark rates by 50 basis points. The lower cost of funds in U.S. is likely to help the global economy, especially the Asian economy which has 7 of the top 10 fastest growing economies in the world. The Morgan Stanley Capital International Asia Pacific (ex Japan) Index gained 1.3 percent to 516 points touching another record high (third straight record high) today.
